Douglas Plume counsels and represents clients in a range of complex commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining Lane Powell, Douglas practiced as a litigator at another nationally recognized firm, where he represented individuals, large companies, and financial institutions in a variety of civil litigation, government investigations, and enforcement actions. He has experience in numerous aspects of the litigation process including developing defense strategy and navigating complex discovery issues.

Before beginning private practice, Douglas served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Gabrielle R. Wolohojian of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where he clarified complex questions of substantive civil and criminal law and supported the court’s efforts to improve access to justice. During law school, Douglas also served as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. Marjorie Allard, Chief Judge of the Alaska Court of Appeals, where he researched issues of criminal and constitutional law in his home state of Alaska.
