Aaron Johnson received the Outstanding Collaboration in Tax Administration Award at the Washington State Tax Conference in July.
To win this award, nominees are first nominated by their peers. Then those in attendance, including the Washington State Department of Revenue, state and local tax lawyers and accountants, industry/company tax participants, and others, vote to decide the winner. Voters are encouraged to consider whether nominees exemplify collaboration for tax administration in Washington, are active in groups that advance good tax administration, and have been involved in projects or issues that advocated for good tax administration or policy.
