Brenna McLaughlin has joined Lane Powell as an Associate on the Labor, Employment & Benefits Team.
McLaughlin’s practice focuses on helping businesses maintain positive work environments and finding pragmatic solutions that resolve problems before they develop into time-consuming litigation. McLaughlin counsels employers of all industries and sizes on a wide range of personnel matters, including medical and paid sick leave compliance, navigating disability accommodations, and drafting leave of absence policies.
McLaughlin also regularly represents clients in litigation involving issues of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and failure to accommodate disabilities before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration.
Outside of the office, McLaughlin enjoys hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest, reading Stephen King novels on rainy days, and helping cats find their forever homes through the Oregon Humane Society.
McLaughlin received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.A., with honors, in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
