Kai Subic-Skattum has joined Lane Powell as an Associate on the Private Client Services Team. Subic-Skattum counsels high net worth families and individuals on estate planning, estate and gift tax planning, and probate and trust administration.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, Subic-Skattum worked as a legal intern drafting, revising, and reviewing LLC agreements and related documents, with a focus on Opportunity Zone projects and regulations, COVID-19 legislation, advantages of different entity structures and estate planning techniques, and planning opportunities for tax savings. He also has experience in reviewing client information and drafting wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care directives.
Subic-Skattum received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, his M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and his B.A. in Political Science and Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania.
