As part of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Leaders at the Front initiative, Lane Powell and more than 65 other leading U.S. law firms and corporate legal departments have publicly pledged to use their resources and reputations to build a more equitable and inclusive world. The pledges go beyond well-meaning words: each of the firm leaders outlines a plan with personal and organizational commitments to foster diversity, equity and inclusion through specific and measurable actions.
In Lane Powell’s pledge, President Barbara Duffy commits to meet regularly with the firm’s LCLD program participants and alumni as well as the firm’s Women’s Initiative leaders to determine strategies by which to continue advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at Lane Powell. The pledge also details the 2021 objectives of the firm’s new three-year DEI strategic plan, including participation in the Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification process. Read the complete pledge here.
