Paul Ohainle has joined Lane Powell as Counsel to the Firm on the Private Client Services Team in Seattle.
Ohainle advises clients on structuring and implementing their estate plans, including gifting strategies through the use of trusts, family companies, and other techniques for transferring wealth to the next generation. His practice also includes assisting fiduciaries with trust and probate administration, as well as judicial and non-judicial procedures for trust modification.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, Oahinle was Director of Estate Planning Education at a wealth management company, where he applied his estate planning experience from Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington to guide wealth transfer strategies in relation to estate tax and gift tax planning.
Ohainle received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. He received his J.D. from the University of California at Davis School of Law and his B.A. in History and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Ohainle learned to pour the perfect pint as a bartender at Guinness’s St. James’s Gate in Dublin, Ireland.
