Justin J. Cabrera represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, commercial leases and subleases, construction and engineering, and portfolio analysis for a national retailer with over 1600 locations. He also works closely with company leadership to implement process and strategy for their existing fleet and new developments. As former counsel for companies including KinderCare, StudentsFirst, Portland Energy Conservation, Inc. and Nike, Justin has vast experience handling corporate transactions, including financing, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contract review. He serves as Vice Chair for the MITCH Charter School Board of Directors. Justin received his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and his B.A. from the University of Washington.
Katie Gallagher counsels clients on a wide range of business matters, including corporate governance and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and corporate financings. She also advises clients about regulatory matters, risk management, government contracting and other business operations. Katie serves as Board Chair for Metropolitan Family Service and volunteers at Oregon’s Start Making a Reader Today organization. Katie received her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Oregon.
Jenifer A. Jewkes advises clients in tax, estate and succession planning, as well as estate and trust administration for high net worth families and individuals. She provides counsel on planning and compliance concerning income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes. Jenifer serves as a member of the Swedish Foundation Planned Giving Advisory Council, is on the Editorial Board for the Washington State Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Newsletter, and is a member of the Seattle Estate Planning Council. Jenifer received her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and her B.B.A. from Gonzaga University.
Matthew D. Viers represents entrepreneurs, startups and investors in connection with corporate, venture capital financing, intellectual property licensing and other emerging company transactional matters. He also advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic corporate transactions. Matthew received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and his B.B.A. in Finance, summa cum laude, from Seattle Pacific University.
Priya B. Vivian is an employment advisor and litigator. She counsels employers on the full employment cycle, including hiring processes, employment contracts, disability accommodation, handbooks and policies, discipline and separations, and provides on-site training to employees regarding compliance with state and federal employment law. She represents employers in employment disputes, either at the administrative level before the EEOC or a local agency, or in litigation matters in federal or state court. Priya was named a 2019 “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters in the area of Labor & Employment. She serves as a Board Member for the Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle and of the Emory Law Alumni Association. Priya received her J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law and her B.S. from Emory University.
