Panelists from the Center for Biological Diversity, Wild Fish Conservancy and Lane Powell will discuss how you can use impact litigation to further your organizational goals and drive societal and environmental change.

3:30 p.m. Pay-for-Success/Social Impact Bonds
The United Nations Development Programme for Financing the Sustainable Development Goals defines a Social Impact Bond or SIB as “…a public-private partnership that allows private (impact) investors to upfront capital for public projects that deliver social and environmental outcomes.” In this session, leaders from the nonprofit, government and financial sectors will discuss the emergence and future of pay-for-success contracts and other SIBs and their promise as a clever mechanism to drive more smart money towards solving social and environmental problems with measurable outcomes.

Against the backdrop of the preceding discussions of new and cutting-edge strategies and structures for achieving mission-driven outcomes, panelists from Clark Nuber and Lane Powell will explore comprehensive and practical approaches for organizations to assess and manage risk in order to best position themselves to maximize their impact.
