Due to a system disruption on January 1, the Department of Labor’s (DOL) iCERT system is currently unavailable, and is expected to remain unavailable until at least Friday, January 4.
The DOL’s iCERT system allows employers and their representatives to electronically submit:
- Labor condition applications for H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 petitions;
- Prevailing wage determination requests in connection with PERM and other applications; and
- Applications for temporary employment certification for H-2A and H-2B petitions.
As a result of the disruption, none of these requests may be filed until the iCERT system is re-opened. This system disruption could delay immigration filings for multiple visa categories. The DOL expects the issue to be resolved over the next few days and will provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the iCERT system is re-opened.
