Immigration Team members Qingqing Miao, Chris Motta-Wurst, Dustin O’Quinn and Jessica Yu will serve as speakers at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) NW Regional Immigration Law Conference, an event dedicated to educating immigration attorneys from around the Pacific Northwest. The event — taking place March 15-16 — is hosted by Seattle University School of Law in cooperation with the Washington and Oregon state chapters of AILA. Our team will present on:
- Miao will co-present on EB-1a/b and EB-2 national interest waiver issues on March 15 from 2:30-3:35 p.m.
- Yu will co-present on employment preference categories, with an overview of EB-1 through EB-5 visas on March 15 from 2:20-3:35 p.m.
- Motta-Wurst will co-present tips for new immigration attorneys on filing and timing H-1Bs, employer obligations and employee qualifications on March 16 from 8:15-9:45 a.m.
- O’Quinn will co-present on recommendations for an attorney’s new immigration practice including book and technology resources on March 16 from 11:05 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.
Miao is Chair of the Washington Chapter of AILA and O’Quinn serves on the planning committee for the conference and is Chair of AILA WA’s Corporate Immigration Committee
