Dustin J. O’Quinn has joined Lane Powell as a Shareholder in the Firm’s Immigration Practice Group. O’Quinn counsels employers in the technology, energy, design and financial sectors on a wide array of U.S. immigration issues, including I-9 compliance and government audits. He develops immigration programs for startup companies in the technology industry, counseling clients on corporate structure, funding and investor relations. He also advises large corporations on the immigration implications of mergers and acquisitions.
O’Quinn has significant experience representing multinational corporations in H-1B, H-2B and L-1 visa matters, as well as uncommon classifications, including investor and extraordinary-ability visas, and maritime immigration matters.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, O’Quinn managed the immigration practice at The Dustin O’Quinn Law Firm. He also has experience at two of the most prominent international, immigration law firms based in the U.S. — Foster LLP (formerly FosterQuan LLP) and Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. He received his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) School of Law, and his B.A. in Philosophy from UT Austin. O’Quinn is licensed in the state of Texas.
