Participated in obtaining summary judgment dismissal in favor of a police department in a multi-plaintiff employment law matter. The plaintiff claimed that their employer, a municipal police department, retaliated against and constructively discharged them by placing them on paid administrative leave during the pendency of an investigation into the plaintiffs' alleged wrongdoing. The client argued that placement of the plaintiffs on paid administrative leave was neither retaliatory nor sufficiently egregious to constitute a constructive discharge. The trial court agreed and dismissed the plaintiffs' claims. The matter was affirmed on appeal.
