Allen v. Boeing CompanyCase No. 2:14-cv-00596U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington We defended Landau Associates, an environmental consultant under contract with Boeing, regarding investigation and remediation of a solvent plume that allegedly migrated in groundwater from Boeing’s Auburn facility into an adjacent residential neighborhood. Plaintiffs are 115 property owners or residents of the neighborhood and they allege Landau owed them a duty to disclose the scope and extent of solvent contamination and to remediate the plume. Plaintiffs are represented by the law firm made famous by Erin Brockovitch. The case has been the subject of jurisdictional motions to determine whether the case should be in state or federal court. We have been participating in the briefing, investigating the factual background, acted as the contact for strategic discussions with Boeing’s outside counsel, and have drafted a motion to dismiss. |
